Is there a Dr. in the House?

This guest post from Walter Horn

One of my favorite actors is Hugh Laurie. He is the infamous melodramatic Dr. on House and has even starred in children's movies such as Stuart Little. Laurie plays an amazing role in House and has been in that role for years. Each episode gives the viewer a look into the mystery of being a doctor and not only the medical drama that plays out but the personal drama that takes place in their lives. House has dealt with drug patients, affairs with his ex-wife, heart problems, and has been shot in the leg which is why he uses his cane. The show takes twists and turns through the entire hour but it is Laurie's brains and brazen attitude that make the show what it is. He gives the show attitude and color. In Stuart Little, he plays the still opinionated husband and father to a normal son and a mouse. He has carried his character from Stuart Little to his role in House it seems by staying within his comfort zone of smoothness and brilliance. I enjoy watching Laurie on Expertsatellite.com channel 242 and I hope that he continues bringing us his wit and charm.
